Stillness reviewed by Oliver Arditi

...creating soundworlds that are awash with a sense of light and clarity...I don’t think that even conventionally inclined listeners will need to work too hard to hear the beauty in this intelligent and involving album.

From Oliver Arditi's lovely, thoughtful review of Stillness in the Mirror.

Arrow

"Arrow" (August, 2011).

"Arrow" is composed with unmodified samples, with minimal processing (just a little reverb in the final mix). The samples are from the OLPC Sound Samples v.2, used here under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License.

They are:

Plastic jug strikes and swung hose: Richard Boulanger.

"Bended bells": Adam Keshen.

Kempura: Akito Van Troyer.

California night sounds: Andrew Sorkin.

Stillness reviewed on Chain D.L.K.

This second release by Paragate' on the trustworthy Auraltone Music's imprint sounds like a sort of documentary collection of a series of mystical experiences...

Four stars and poetry in Chain D.L.K.'s review of Stillness in the Mirror.
